All Metal classes will take place in the wood studio at Main (3750 Canfield Street).
Summer Specialty Classes

Have you always wanted to try blacksmithing but didn’t know where to start? These one-day classes are ideal for those who want a taste of varied and intricate art of blacksmithing. You can sign up for just one, or try all classes.
These series of classes are a perfect introduction for anyone wanting to get started in this craft, or just have a fun day trying something new. Each class will teach you shop safety, fire management, tools and equipment, and the appropriate use of the various parts of the hammer and anvil. You will learn basic techniques for shaping hot steel while making an item for your own personal use.
